Retinol is a form of Retinoid derived from Vitamin A.
It helps to neutralise free radicals that sit on the surface of the skin, it works to boost the products of collagen in the skin cells that tend to slow down after the age of 30, this process creates a ‘plumping’ effect which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Retinol is also used to minimise the appearance of scarring and dark spots caused by acne and skin damage. Acting as an exfoliant, it works to smooth the skin's surface, evening skin tone and texture.
