Liverpool Welcomes Eurovision - Home To Give Me Cosmetics!

It’s time to stick on those sequins, reach for the gogo boots and dust off that disco ball, because it’s that time of year again! Eurovision is here and this year we’ve brought it home to the UK and more specifically Liverpool - Home to Give Me Cosmetics!

When Liverpool was announced as the city to host, it felt even more special knowing that this exciting event is happening right on the doorstep of the home of Give Me Cosmetics!

To celebrate this, Give Me has launched a massive digital campaign throughout the city!

The exquisitely designed Digital Adshel campaigns feature an interactive QR code which can be used to enter their exclusive Eurovision competition! Two lucky winners will be in for the chance to win a £100 gift voucher to spend on-site & an exclusive ‘Royal Eurovision Beauty Hamper’ (not available on their website), which includes 9 full-sized items!

The Liverpool-based Beauty brand are immensely proud to be a part of such an incredible event. Their Digital Marketing Manager added “Eurovision to us represents an all-inclusive community. Something that we focus on & feel strongly as a brand. We are all about unity!”

The Eurovison Song Contest is a highlight in anyone's calendar, showcasing incredible talent all over the continent and filling our screens with a world of dazzlement and flamboyancy; each year outdoing the next. Basically, the rule is, go big or go home!

Last year we saw the UK land an incredible 2nd place with Sam Ryder’s ‘Space Man’, the closest our country has come since 1998!

This year, the UK has kindly opted to host the huge event due to last year's winner, Ukraine, being unable to host with the country's ongoing conflict happening with Russia.

The city will be paying homage to friends in Ukraine with landmarks placed throughout the City such as The Soloveiko Songbirds - the national bird of Ukraine and the floating Earth, that can be found bobbing around in the Liverpool Albert Docks; signifying strength, solidarity and unity in all countries

Mayor of Liverpool, Jo Anderson commented on the event saying - “This is a massive event and the eyes of the world will be on us in May, especially those of our friends in Ukraine.”

“Ukraine – you have my promise we will do you proud.”

There is a huge build-up to create a buzz around the city this week before the grand Final Saturday 13th May with pop-up events placed throughout Liverpool City Centre, showcasing EuroClub Fiestas, EuroFestival Screenings (with documentaries and exhibitions in support of Ukraine) and music concerts in the EuroVillage - see full lineup Here

Keep a look out throughout the city for our beautiful pink interactive boards and scan to be in the chance to WIN!

On behalf of the Give Me Team, we wish all the Eurovision entries the best of luck in the Grand Final.

"There's not enough silliness in the world. Eurovision helps to keep it balanced." -Terry Wogan.
